Dear Caring Friend,
First and foremost I would like to personally thank you for taking time out of your busy day to read this letter. Now, it is in my humblest regards that I have been granted the opportunity to minister to Honduras, where by the grace of God, I was lead to those less fortunate children, whom was obligated to the meager standard of living.
Visiting Honduras, allowed me to reach out to the poor and lend a helping hand by providing
food, shelter, along with clothing the best way I knew how. Unfortunately for me, I had to
witness these little boys and girls suffer on the street of Tegucigalpa; having little to nothing
to coat their stomachs, living in unsanitary conditions and left to fend for themselves.
Oftentimes, some children as young as five or six years old weave in and out of traffic
dodging cars, hoping that someone would throw them a few coins. It’S as if they’ve became slaves, in order to collect money for their relatives on the side of the road. Oftentimes they
are hit by cars or harmed by cruel people on the street. These precious little blessings had no
other choice but to beg to survive.
Otherwise their punishments were that they would be beaten.
Clearly, they are unhappy, to them…unlike you and I, they had no other choice. Leaving many
of the girls at the biggest risks, by accepting to be a slave in the home where they were
brutally abused: Than to subject themselves to the undoubtedly more intense
maltreatment on the street corner. Being a witness allowed me to change my perspective
and give out to the needy.
So to help make the change with the grace of God, I have started a nonprofit organization
called Mission of Compassion, and with the little help I have, I have been able to nurture
the weak. Nonetheless, this job cannot be done alone, which is why I ‘am
writing to you today. With the entire economic crisis, God will always take care of his people.
Last year, CIMVMC partners helped us to bless thousands of children with food, clothes, medicine, hygienic supplies, toys and schools supplies in the desperately poor regions
of Peru, Haiti, and Honduras. But I truly believe we can do more than that. I honestly believe
that with you help we can do even better.
Our goal is to remove those precious little children off the street, to build a paradise home
for them. We have started a project in Haiti that will cost approximately $60,000
to finish it We have planned to finish it by June 2012
As you can already imagine it requires numerous amount to build an orphan!
That’s the reason why we need your financial support! Without your contribution, their hopes
for a better life shrivel and grow dim. Won’t you help them see a better tomorrow?
The least we can do is to pray for them and with this prayer, a warm bed, a meal and a bit of human kindness, these children will be hopeful of tomorrow. Please remenber your donation is
tax deductible and let us know that you are standing with us.
I left you with these verses in the book of Matthew 10, 40-42. And whoever shall give to drink to one of these little ones, a cup of cold [water] only, in the name of a disciple, verily, I say to you,
he shall in no wise lose his reward. I look forward to hearing you soon. May the power of our
loving God lift you up always!
Yours in Christ,
Mission of Compassion Inc.
